Conical jar, made by experimental archaeologist and potter Caroline Jeffra and scanned with the DAVID SLS-3 scanner by Loes Opgenhaffen.
The jar is made according to Method 1 as defined by Courty and Roux (1998). It has fine to medium rilling, dented effect from differential thickness, thickness discontinuities, vertical-diagonal chattering, torsional rippling and asymmetry from rotation.
The original 3D mesh was 378MB, but was decimated in Meshlab with the Quadric Edge Collapse Decimation filter, 4x, treshold 0.3, to appr. 25MB.
