This cooking pot was discovered in 1994 during an archaeological investigation in the hamlet Vogelzang, south of Maastricht in Netherlands, which showed a considerable quantity of flint tools and potshards in a ten-by-ten-meter zone. During the examination of these discoveries, it became evident that around ten entire pots could be reassembled. The decoration of this particular cooking pot is absent, the surface is fragmented and has several holes, revealing that the piece is highly fragile.
