The schooner CORA W. POST, with dimensions of 40ft 12.2m in length, 12.2 ft 3.7m in width, and 4.7 ft 1.5m in depth had a gross tonnage of 13.12 GT and 10.4 NT. It was built in 1875 in Little Sodus, New York.

On a fateful night, the CORA POST was sailing up the St. Lawrence river with a cargo of 15000 bricks. Unfortunatly, the vessel had no lights illuminated. In the darkeness, the steamer PRINCESS LOUISE collided with the schooner, causing it to rapidly sink 30ffw 10m deep. The crew of the CORA POST managed to escape onto the steamer just in time. The schooner, along with its cargo, was unisured resulting in a loss of $3000.

the model was created from 342 images shot on a Olympus Em1 mk2 8mm lens shot by Matthew Charlesworth in the 2024 season.
