Jules Joris - Howest DAE Strylized Creation - Final Assignment

Created in Zbrush, with most of the low poly of the Armor parts in Maya. Retopo made in Maya, baked in Marmoset and textured in Substance Painter.

The assignment was to translate any stylized concept of our choice into a 3D game-ready model. The only restriction was ” no eldritch stuff ” ( prankd ).

The original concept’s name was ” K.King “. Since my understanding of chinese is quite limited ( more like non-existent ), I could not figure what the K stood for. I tried my best to find a fitting name for the character without destroying the concept artist’s intent.

Hey awesome models ! We are making game in climate of old 70s railway. And we are currently looking for another 3D artist, Gameplay is pretty standard combination of payload-capture the point mechanics. You and your crewmen are deliverymen, and your job is to transport a cargo through demon infested cursed land. We have some awesome art, and some ready models (although we want to redo them) , as well as custom animations.

(might be a cool thing to drop into portfolio as well !)
