Corrupted Sword

There was a legend of a sword, that was forged by the finest blacksmith. The blade itself was forged from a mystical crystal. This crystal was the only one of it’s kind. However the weapon never made it’s way to the castle. The blacksmith went missing and along the road there was signs of a pure evil demon. Anywhere it goes there is always a dark purple trail that follows its path. The sword was since corrupted by the demon. The hilt has turned into to Shadow steel. The gem still glows a hint of blue, but the blade is covered in the same dark purple substance that, no one should ever touch.
