More model informationThis tooth, about 4cm in lenght, belongs to Cosmopolitodus hastalis a fossil shark from the Pliocene (5,3-2,5 million years ago) also known as “giant mako”. Model obtained through photogrammetry, 4k texture.
Trivia: unbeknown to most, the out-facing side of the tooth in a living shark is the flat one even though it is the least seen due to displaying purposes.
