Possible prehistoric carving found just south of the Cow and Calf on Rombalds Moor, West Yorkshire.
This boulder sits next to a well-worn path and is referenced IAG304 in Boughey & Vickerman’s 2003 publication ‘Prehistoric Rock Art of the West Riding’. They describe:
‘Small rock, with one clear cup.’
The CSI: Rombalds Moor project referenced the stone ‘Cow and Calf 01’ on ERA in 2013.
