More model informationBuilt in 1866, Cow Creek Mill operated as a gristmill in Gloucester County, Virginia for nearly a century. The four-story building included two large mill stones that were powered by a water wheel system. Unfortunately, the structure lost the east and west walls and portions of the roof to wind storms in 2018. The owner hopes to restore the mill, which stands as a unique monument to the county’s industrial past.
