More model informationThis creature, seemingly a strange mix between a jellyfish and an arthropod is a gentle filter feeder, drifting in the currents and feeding on plankton in the rich coastal waters. It has no eyes as such, and its ‘arms’ are almost exclusively used to funel nutrients to its mouth, through very fast movements. Its shape has earned it the nickname of ‘Zavaboya’ aka ‘confused buoy’. This particular individual is of the ‘striped’ variety, because of slightly bio-luminescent stripe in its mid section.
