More model informationA small (under a metre in length) ground level carved rock, set within prpobable prehistoric walling, close to Cranshaw Thorn Hil, Ilkley Moor, West Yorkshire, England.
It’s safe to assume from the tool marks still evident , this rock has spent most of its life covered either from vegetation or within a boundary. Whether the central groove is carved is difficult to determine, but other panels in the area (within 500m) also display similar grooves. If carved, the motifs with peck marks are likely to be later additions.
