Crimson Desert is an internal project of Thunder Cloud studio which involves building a fully stylized environment landscape with PBR settings for games. Thunder cloud studio has been developed the entire package from concept to finished levels with various type of modular assets, from rocks to foliages and props. The project requires heavy technical breakdown with wide range of software to achieve the most beautiful results and varieties of assets. The project art direction is heavily influenced from Stylized PBR games such as Overwatch and Fortnite. It’s been a challenging experience to convey the design of concept into 3D game assets while retaining the harmonious feel and dazzling visual styles.
