Crocker Reef Navigation Beacon

Remains of an unlit navigation beacons installed at Crocker Reef in the Florida Keys reefs to warn mariners of their proximity to shoal water. Also served as a signpost to help mariners determine their location along the reef. Each beacon carried a vane structure with a letter, number, or symbol that corresponded to a chart produces by the US Coast Survey.
