There is a small town in Poland, Subcarpathian Voivodeship - Kolbuszowa. The local urban myth is that Zygmunt Nowakowski, a landowner from the region, brought a live crocodile from Egipt and released it into the Nile in Kolbuszowa. Yes - that little town has a small stream flowing through it and it’s called the Nile. No one really knows if the story is true, but the crocodile became a symbol of Kolbuszowa :)
