This is a scan of a 3D-printed crocodile skull on the Afinia ES360 Desktop 3D Scanner. Many desktop 3D scanners have diffuculty capturing geometry in holes and crevasses. The ES360 allows you to position the object at different angles while it automatically scans and stitches the model to capture as much geometry as possible. This can be seen in this scan of a crocodile skull.
