Small chunk of Cross Point Gneiss from NE Mayo in Ireland - some of the oldest rocks in Ireland at 1.27Ga. The rocks outcrop not far south from the Annagh Gneisses which are 1.75Ga old and the oldest rocks on the mainland of Ireland. This piece preserves a fold that is good to see in 3D.
