This crown was made by students at Heritage House School to mark the Coronation of King Charles III. It shows a papier mâché earth surrounded by the flags of the Commonwealth. The outer frame was based on the crown worn by Elizabeth II. Object from Heritage House School.
Reflection by Students from Heritage House School: We were really excited that we won the Buckinghamshire crown competition with this design. We tried to show the King’s interest in planet Earth. We were really interested to learn that he and the royal family have supported the Paralympic Games for many years.
