Cryo coffin

This coffin is designed with the idea that deceased occupants can continue life and communication in the state termed “half life” coined by Philip K. Dick in the novel Ubiq.

The deceased is kept in a cryogenic state facilitated by the devices seen on the cartonage surface so that a visual is available for when the half life communication device is activated and plugged in.

The coffin is crafted in metal in order to best contain the cryogenic gas, and has been given a striped facade to recall the pharaonic headress known as “nemes”.

This is an asset for Level 2 of my game the Book Of The Divine Insects, and is the focus of a puzzle game where player must “dial up” a pharaoh from each of Dynasties 18, 19, and 21 to advance gameplay.
