Crystal River Carved Stela 1 3D Model
Stela 1 from the site of Crystal River Archaeological State Park. The site contains six mounds and was first occupied around 500 B.C. until as recently as A.D. 1500 or so. Stela 1 is a modified/carved stone slab that was intentionally positioned at the site. The buried portion has bits of food remains, charcoal, sand, and chert chips in the surrounding ground. When discovered in 1964 by Ripley P. Bullen there was still evidenced of an anthropomorphic figure pecked and carved into the stone.
This model was constructed from 118 photographs using AgiSoft Metashape software. Finally editing was completed in Blender.
