Crystal Structures Unit Cells

Just some of the units cells are shown. Catalyst surface are made if crystallites. The crystallites are in turn made up of unit cells. So if a surface of a catalyst is presented by a smooth surface it is a simplification. A surface also has kinks, dislocations etc.
