- This model is one of many created for this complex site with active litigation.
- Historical analytical data provided by client in well-maintained database format which expedited preparation of the 3D Conceptual Site Model (CSM).
- Python programming was used to automate creation of multiple EVS models for PCE and seven degradation products. Initial CSM was used to identify data gaps targeted for additional characterization using the Waterloo Advance Profile System (APS). Four transects were completed along the fence diagrams shown.
- In addition to the 3D products a real-time ArcGIS-based online mapping platform was deployed and used to post real-time data collection during the APS investigation and during planning web-based calls.
The resulting models and online GIS were instrumental in gaining approval from the multiple regulatory agencies and stakeholders and remedy evaluation and selection.
