More model informationThis model is one of several 3DVA products prepared for EPA’s Superfund Remediation and Technology Innovation (OSRTI). It depicts two PCE source areas and impacted soil volume. This is part of a Superfund Site located in Nebraska and the High Plains Aquifer.
Integrated subsurface site characterization data were used to create a 3D-based Conceptual Site Model (CSM). The source areas in the model are the result of historical activities at two former dry cleaner facilities. The impacted soils shown contribute to a chlorinated solvent groundwater plume stretching nearly two miles downgradient and impacts both the unconfined aquifer and the upper confined aquifer.
