More model informationBetween its medieval origin and its revival in the 18th century the gothic style never quite died out. Rather it absorbed and adapted to the novelties of the Renaissance and later fashions. At Cullen is one of the mist impressive examples of late medieval gothic: in form it is a typical wall inserted tomb, comprising armoured effigy recumbent upon an arcaded tombchest, inhabited with weepers. An ogee canopy, set between pillars shelters the effigy. On the back wall of the niche God the Father offers blessing, a black letter inscription memorialises the deceased, and a withered cadaver reminds us that despite earthly glories, all must die. 3D asset generated with photogrammetry software 3DF Zephyr v7.007 processing 1179 images
