Cwm Fryddlas Hut Circle 13D Model
I recently attended a Landscape Archaeology Masters field school with the Department of Archaeology at the University of Sheffield, to Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park in Wales, where I helped supervise a couple of students who were tasked within invesigation the Iron Age/Romano-British enclosures on the uplands near Bethesda.
The sites survive as low and in some cases almost buried networks of boulder walls which mark the location of ancient fields, along with hut circles and cairns. I of course took the opportunity to capture in 50 photos, one of the hut circles at the scheduled ancient monument site of Cwm Fryddlas. Gutted I missed a bit, but I think I captured it.
