Pix4D Mapping Software from Switzerland was used to assemble this interactive 3D model and high resolution 2D image. Over 600 aerial photos were taken with a DJI Mavic Drone, then loaded into the Pix4d mapping software. My son Yukio and I flew out drones with two of the most famous paleontoligists of our universe, Peter Larson , President of Black Hills Institute of Geological Research ( bhigr.com ) and Frank Garcia. We flew and mapped an Oligocene locality in Eastern Nebraska that Frank has spent many many days, searching for ( and finding ) fossils.
