More model informationE.M.U’s (Excavation Mining Units) were known for their excellent durability. This one in particular has been roaming the mines for 30 years. Next to their insane durability they were also very efficient. One of these bad boys could clear up to 16000 tonns of coal a day. Machines like this aren’t made anymore, and they are getting old. Very old E.M.U’s are known to wonder off or just completly break down. Back in the ’70s they were advertised for being independent mining robots, but today you can rarely have an E.M.U without constant surveillance.
