The faint buzzing of a lone plane reaches your ears. You squint, trying to see the patterns of rust and scratches on its wings. But among the now-usual wear and tear lie dark waves, curves, and a red dotted line, ending in a cross right on the cockpit. It’s almost like a map made by a madman. Has the pilot charted the badlands? But before you can guess, the plane disappears into the clouds without a trace, leaving you alone in the desert.
