More model information

A daguerreotype portrait of Catherine Hannah Dunkerley set in a case. Catherine is sat at a table, she is posed with one hand touching her face and with a book in her other hand, resting on her lap. She wears a dark coloured moire (water silk) dress, with lace collar and cuffs; there are bracelets on each of her wrists and her hair is parted in the centre and pinned to cover her ears. The case has a burgundy velvet surround to the image and has burgundy silk lining the case facing the daguerreotype.

I’ve not seen an example of a daguerreotype on Sketchfab so thought I’d give it a go. Made from one Jpeg image.

EDIT- I’ve remade this 2D to 3D model of the daguerreotype using the PBR settings, as Sketchfab has turned off the Classic Render mode so if I wanted to apply this method to other Daguerreotypes in future I’d need the workaround. This took a little while to figure it out, it might even be an improvement on the original version?
