Lord of the Iron Hills, cousin of Thorin Oakenshield, and latter king of Erebor. Fell in battle agains the orcs while fighting at the gate of Erebor, standing over the body of the fallen king of Dale named Brand. This battle was devised by Sauron to keep the men of dale and the Dwarves of Erebor from coming and adding Gondor and Rohan in the final battle during the war of the Ring.
