Fantasy Low Poly Island - Challenge 2021
I modeled mini version of dalaran from warcraft. It was a pretty great challange for me. In the begining I was planning to texturing whole scene with basic color palatte but I changed my mind. During this challange I learned lots of great things about baking and I believe I really pushed my baking and detaling sculpting skills really well =).
Firstly I modeled block out version in blender after that I turned that blockout to two different version. One of them is low poly with unwrapped uv and another one is high poly version with smooth geometry. After that I sculpted model details to high poly version in zbrush like cracks, noises etc. After sculpting I used mostly marmoset for baking models. In the end I combined bake maps with low poly models in substance painter and thats all =).
