More model informationRochester Cathedral memorial consisting of a white marble sarcophagus against a black marble pyramid beneath a Gothic arch. On either side are figures in Coade stone, developed by notable early British businesswoman Eleanor Coade (1733-1821). On the left stands ‘Truth’, with ‘Time’ seated on the right. Traditionally ascribed to Thomas Banks RA, but this has been disputed. Inscription in incised Roman letters on pyramid gilded and on base, once painted black, recalls the husband and family history of Dame Ann Henniker who died 18th July 1792, aged 65 (she died before her husband became Baron Henniker) (Physick 1995).
