The Churchyard Dargie or St Peter’s, Invergowrie.
The church itself is believed to be medieval and a former building which stood on the site was from around 715AD. This is a second attempt at this burial ground which was made with slightly higher settings than the first version. The area around the Cox memorial group at the front of the ground turned out badly which is due to a lack of photographs of that area so part of the section I have removed. The strange striped texture which runs down one side of the model is a thin wooden wire framed fence. The rendering time from 650 photographs was approx as follows:- Photo alignment 24hrs, point cloud building 32 hours generating 30 million points, mesh generation 26 hours giving approx 68 million triangles. Decimation of mesh approx 60 hours.
