Death Star Trench Run Loop! - 2

My second entry for the epic Star Wars contest!

Since the camera isn’t moveable, I “reverse-animated” it all. In the start I modeled all the detailing in the trench, but it got too heavy, so I baked it dow to a normal-map. My biggest focus was modeling the TIE and X-wing, so maybe you should go see them! I had a period where animation wasn’t available, so that slowed me down, and therefore I didn’t get quite enough time at last, so the animation is a bit rough some places, sorry ;(

I know that this is not like it is in the movie, but it was these fights that I remembered clearest, and therefore I decided that those were the ones I would make. Then I made it a loop, because… just because…
