Also known as Heniokhos (the one who holds the reins), it is one of the most famous statues of Ancient Greece and is considered one of the most beautiful examples of ancient bronze sculpture. The statue was found in 1896 at the Apollo Sanctuary in Delphi. The original is in the Delphi Archaeological Museum. This partial copy was made for the Simu Museum in Bucharest (now demolished). This statue was one of the many replicas that were in the Simu Museum’s first room. Now in the Museum of the School of Architecture.
