Demonic Helmet

This is the texrured version of the helmet for a college project. When creating the helmet, I knew from the beginning that I wanted it to look demonic in nature. I imagined a powerful king with his soldiers in an intense battle, the very sight of the king striking fear into the hearts of the enemy. From that concept I looked for dark threatening helmets online and almost immediately decided on using the Witch King and Sauron’s helmet designs from The Lord of The Rings movies as my main source of inspiration. After talking with my professor, he approved my goal of creating an original demonic helmet. From there I looked up more normal helmets to help stabilize the design so that it didn’t appear overly fantasy like. I wanted a sense of realism to the helmet, like someone could actually wear it in medieval times. I see much potential for my helmet, and I am looking forward to continue working on it.
