Digital sculpting of an original character of mine, from a post-apocalyptic universe. Mother of a young Deaf boy, Ellie is a middle-age woman who has recently found refuge in a small community in the middle of arid lands. As she once was a soldier, a long time ago, she assumed the responsibility of defending the village, with the help of other volunteers. However, as she loves wandering too much to stay put in one place, she also serves her people by scavenging in the surrounding ruins.

As this was my second attempt at sculpting a semi-realistic human, I was mostly interested in exploring the way muscle, fat, aging, scars and the like modified a body. And then how clothing worked, because it was my first experience in Marvelous Design! As for the concept art, it was done a year prior (November 2018) when I had to reinvent this character as some sort of vigilante.
