The Smithson’s House of the Future, built as an experimental Architecture piece made in 1953. Its focus was to represent how people would live twenty-five years into the future. The Design is entirely Inward facing. In-lu of overdeveloped windows the basis of the structure is the central courtyard. This move was meant to restrict outside viewing into the house and isolate the future inhabitants.
