Desmatosuchus smalli – composite brain & skull3D Model
Skull of the aetosaurian archosaur Desmatosuchus smalli (TTUP 9024) with the brain endocast and inner ear from a different specimen (UCMP 27410) in place. The skull (TTUP 9024) was collected from the Post Quarry in the Upper Triassic Cooper Canyon Formation (Dockum Group) of Texas, whereas the braincase (UCMP 27410) was collected from the Placerias Quarry in the Upper Triassic Chinle Formation of Apache County, Arizona and is in the collections of the University of California Museum of Paleontology at Berkeley.
