Semitransparent braincase of the aetosaurian archosaur Desmatosuchus smalli (UCMP 27410), revealing the brain endocast and inner ear within. The braincase was collected from the Placerias Quarry in the Upper Triassic Chinle Formation of Apache County, Arizona and is in the collection of the University of California Museum of Paleontology at Berkeley.
