Willing to serve as the update to the traditional memento mori concept for our digital era, it emerges as a meaningful reminder in virtual environments, often space of the ideal, places dedicated to the celebration of a self represented ego, its unrealistic expectations, and uninterrupted consumption. The project, in its digital sculptural form, participated at Vorspiel/transmediale in Berlin¹, from 2/2/‘24 to 2/4/‘24; while Memento Mori for Virtual Realities, a video from this series, with audio by Marco Simioni participated at Day of the Dead at Oculus, NYC the 10/25/‘24, and at Centro Queretano De La Imagen, Queretano, Mexico² from 10/31/‘24 to 11/3/‘24.
