More model information

The 3D model presents the segmented surface of a digital twin of a historical costume. The initial surface which was generated by using computer simulations in Clo software is shown on the left. The segments of the surface are shown on the right. Those represent areas controlled by parameters that are chosen subjectively divided into three categories, seams, edges and surfaces. The model aims to indicate uncertain areas of the garment resulting from limitations inherent to computer simulations.

The original digital twin is available at https://skfb.ly/oyEwA

The authors of the 3D model are Aleksei Moskvin and Mariia Moskvina, Saint Petersburg State University of Industrial Technologies and Design.

The authors thank prof. Victor Kuzmichev and the team from Ivanovo State Polytechnic University for providing data required for 3D modelling.
