In Baildon Moor there are a number of carved rocks, but many of them are quite small and overgrown. We were lucky to find a number of them, particularly this one which had been recently uncovered. This small boulder has a number of motifs covering most of its surface. The grooves are, in some cases, intertwined and deep, suggesting that they were at some point re-carved. Some of the lines used in motifs were used to compose other motifs. The compositions includes a number of types of circles and lines, using the convexity of the boulder.
