La Roche-aux-Fées is a dolmen located in the commune of Essé , in the French department of Ille-et-Vilaine , in Brittany . Its name comes from a legend according to which the stones would have been brought by fairies , legend often at the origin of the name of “Rock of the fairies” given to dolmens or covered alleys.

The dolmen is made up of more than forty stones forming a corridor four times longer than wide, oriented north-northwest – south-southeast.
