More model informationDong Son Bronze Culture (3rd century BC- 1st century AD) is considered a pinnacle of Vietnam’s indigenous prehistoric culture. Dong Son people appear to have been avid sea-farers with advanced sailed- oared ships that could carry combatants and heavy ballista. These ships were lavishly decorated with geometrical patterns and “eyes” to signify the might of warlords who owned them. Dong Son ships are featured prominently on many bronzewares.
