3D Model

Based on the ‘Sundew’ dragline, at the time of construction in the 1970s, this was the largest dragline excavator in the world.

This 3D model asset was made for the co-location VR heritage experience Steel Town Tales. Steel Town Tales was supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund (www.heritagefund.org.uk) and aimed to preserve the rich legacy of Corby, North Northamptonshire and to explore the enduring connection between the town’s history, its people, and the ongoing evolution of steel making.
