More model informationColumn with double mercy seat from the second half of the 17th century in Bockfließ.
The trinity column was built by Valentin Rieß or his brother Heinrich Rieß, who was the parish priest in Bockfließ. Legend has it that a pretzel boy (Child selling pretzels) stopped here on his way from Wolkdersdorf to Auersthal. Overcome by tiredness, he fell asleep and froze to death on this freezing cold winter day. Since then, the column has been popularly called “Brezelbua”.
