More model information1920’s miner dwellings carved out of ancient Tecopa Lakebed sediments. Bottom 5’ of sediments are actually Lava Creek tuff from Yellowstone’s last large eruption 630,000 years ago. Carving into bluff was a means of insulating dwellings from harsh summer temperatures.
