The coastal promontory fort at Dunbeg, is situated on the Dingle Peninsular in County Kerry. The fort which is a national monument in the care of the Minister for Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht (KE052-270001-) has seen considerable erosion over the last few years particularly during severe storm events. For this reason the CHERISH team have surveyed it on two occasions and are working to determine the rate of loss to this well loved site.
