Dune Buggy || Challenge3D Model
This is my submission for the Sketchfab Dune Buggy Challenge.
My goal was to stay under 100k tris / 50k quads, but to get a lot of details. This model got four materials. All textures have a size of 1024 px except the texture for the glass (512 px). I know that glass materials could be slow down the performance depending for what end device its created, that’s why I decided to create one separate material for the glass. However, I tried to get a clean topology and less unnecesseary polys. I created less support edges and I cleaned edges, which are not important for the shape. All parts are uvmapped.
I created some rendering on my Artstation.
Everything is made in Blender and Substance Painter.
If you buy this asset, you will get the .fbx, all textures (also in higher quality) and the blend-file. I sort and named all meshes, collections, added helper and created a volume shader and ground in Alchemist for the rendering.
