More model informationThese are the sinuses found in the meninges of the brain, or dural sinuses. They reside between the periosteal and meningeal layers of the dura mater. Major sinuses include the superior and inferior sagital sinuses, occipital sinus, sigmoid sinus, and lateral sinus. The superior and inferior sagital sinuses also mark the location of falx cerebri, or a double layer of meningeal dura mater located between the left and right hemispheres of the brain. The ventricles of the brain are shown here as well.
