This eagle figurine was definitely a learning experience. You might think that the details and shape of this object were the problems, but I made the mistake of using a black bakcground for a dark object. The images, while they aligned normally with some additional control points in Reality Capture, did not capture the sharpness of the object. This has caused a lot of rough and incorrect normals to appear on the ends of the wings. The base color for the wings is blurry as well. After learning from this mistake, I will most likely be reshooting this figurine with a white background and trying again.
